What is a coach?

A coach is a wellness professional that works with you to identify and achieve your goals in various areas of your life; such as personal growth, career development, relationships, health and well-being, and more.

How does a coach differ from a psychologist and counsellor?

Psychologists and counsellors tend to center on past experiences, while coaches prioritise the present and future. While coaches may explore past issues to gain a better understanding of their clients, the primary objective is to empower clients to take actionable steps that help them move closer to their desired state of being. This involves gaining clarity on goals and developing strategies to achieve success. Ultimately, coaches are focused on driving positive change in the present and future.

What kind of coaching do you provide?

As a mental wellbeing life coach, I specialise in exploring the internal, unconscious forces that drive your emotions and actions. By taking a unique psycho-dynamic and psycho-therapeutic approach, we work on gaining a clear understanding of the “why” behind your objectives and obstacles. With this newfound insight, I guide you towards your desired state of well-being, helping you take actionable steps towards a happier and more fulfilling life.

How long will I need to work with a coach?

The approach we take will depend on your specific needs and challenges. While I offer 8-week programs for certain areas that are designed to help you achieve your desired outcome, the right course of action will be determined based on our coaching call and a better understanding of your unique circumstances.

Can a coach guarantee that I will be successful?

Coaching is a collaborative process, and your experience will be shaped by your own investment in the process. As your coach, I am here to provide guidance, support, and expertise, but ultimately, the progress you make will depend on your willingness to engage and take action.
